Hi!

I'm a self-taught portrait artist based in Makati, Philippines. Currently, I'm working as a bank professional during the day, and shifts to artist mode every night and during Saturdays. That’s how I roll these days.

My love for art started when I was a kid. My mama would often tell me that most of my tantrums would be resolved with just a pencil and crayon, and it will be a peaceful moment for her (if you know what I mean). 😊

Through the years, finding my own style as an artist was not always pleasant – but my own failures propelled me to go beyond what I already know. Currently, I’m exploring the play of balance between a realistic and a more expressive style of painting that I try to incorporate in my portraits. The complexity of the human face always leaves me curious that it has been the ultimate subject of almost all of my paintings.

This eagerness also led me to a multitude of discoveries--- from drawing simple sketches to more realistic pieces; from portraits to also trying out a couple landscapes; from graphite to charcoals to colored pencils to acrylics to watercolors; from paper to fabric and even to walls! Just this year (2023), I started to push myself further as I go into the world of live event painting. I’m always at awe when I see how God meticulously directs my every step to help me find my own voice as an artist and reach more beautiful souls with my art.
